NEST is a specialist educational setting for children who meet strict school admissions criteria.
The NEST provision is for pupils who are aged between 15 – 19 and are from an asylum seeking or refugee background, or are a new arrival in year 11 and;
- have arrived in the UK within the last two years
- have been in UK education for less than one year
- are new to English or in the early stages of learning English
- are in need of intensive EAL support in order to access further education and work opportunities
- are resident within Nottingham City
