Referrals
NEST is a specialist educational setting and the young people must meet strict school admissions criteria.
The NEST provision is for pupils, aged between 15 – 19, who
- are seeking asylum or refuge
- have arrived in the UK within the last two years
- have been in UK education for less than one year
- are new to English or in the early stages of learning English
- are in need of intensive EAL support in order to access further education and work opportunities
- are resident within Nottingham City
